Growing up, the 4th of July was always a BIG holiday for my family. We got together with friends and family, cooked all day long, played outside, then got to watch fireworks at the end of the day. EPIC! I remember my mom setting up so many fun crafts and things for us to do for Independance Day, and now I get to do those fun things with my kids. Make some memories this summer with these fun to do’s:
- Patriotic Blowers
- Patriotic Tie Dye Shirts – Growing up I rememeber making 4th of july shirts with our friends using paint and sponges shaped liked stars. They were so cool and unique. This year, for my family, we made tie dye shirts, it was a blast and every shirt is unique.
- Red, White, and Blue Muddy Buddies – These are easy to make and great if you are traveling or will be gone from home all day on the 4th.
- 4th of July Bike Parade – How fun would this be, to let the kids decorate all their bikes and do a parade. So much fun and a great way to be creative and unique.
- DIY Backyard Game Fun – keep everyone happy and busy with these fun, patriotic games.
